PRIMARY POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Issues production briefs for assigned production areas.

Enters production reporting, time utilization, component issues, scrap, and work order close packets, as well as inventory adjustments that Distribution provides.

Monitors available quantities of bulk raw materials in silos, tanks, and totes.

Monitors material supply and alerts others of potential shortages and communicates to quality when needed materials need to be released.

Identify any errors in scheduling, planning, or QAD and take initiative to resolve and/or notify management immediately.

Assist with maintaining inventory of labels, simple maintenance of the label printers.

Assist with annual year end physical inventory.

Assist with implementation of Warehouse Management System and the transition from manual labels to digital labels.

Be able to back up Production Planning Supervisor on a as needed basis.

Lead special projects as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience

2+ years working within Manufacturing (MUST)
Strong mathematical aptitude
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of Production scheduling, material movement, and Work Order creation/release
ERP experience (they work with QAD, QAD is not a must)
Working with raw materials
