Role:
Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM) Technician
The Extrusion Blow Molding Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining extrusion blow molding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with blow molding systems, mold changes, machine adjustments, and process troubleshooting to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
This is a highly technical, floor-focused role requiring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Perform mold changes, machine startups, shutdowns, and production changeovers
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and product quality to ensure efficient production
- Troubleshoot process issues related to wall thickness, flash, parison control, leaks, and material flow
- Adjust machine parameters and process settings to optimize production efficiency and minimize scrap
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on blow molding equipment
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues
- Follow all safety procedures, GMP standards, and company policies

- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in extrusion blow molding manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of EBM processes, machine setup, and troubleshooting
- Experience performing mold changes and machine adjustments
- Mechanical and technical aptitude with strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to read and understand machine documentation and production specifications
- Familiarity with plastics manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and production environment
- Ability to safely work around industrial machinery and equipment
