Inventory Specialist

Location: Earth City

Job Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for pulling and staging parts and materials for the Valve Shop while maintaining accurate Ready-To-Use (RTU) inventory records. This role supports efficient production flow by ensuring inventory accuracy, proper material handling, and timely communication regarding shortages and discrepancies. Responsibilities
* Pull and stage components for assembly based on bills of material, instructions and personal knowledge.
* Pull conforming components from Quality Assurance (Inspect/Wrap) and locate to RTU Inventory.
* Ensure first in/first out inventory consumption where possible.
* Assign tags with value to orders.
* Initiate parts shortages when identified.
* Accurately record inventory transactions in ASIS.
* Execute inventory cycle counts as directed & amend quantities when required.
* Conduct investigations into significant inventory discrepancies.
* Identify process changes to improve inventory control & accuracy.
* Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned physical inventory locations.
* Ensure efficient utilization of assigned physical inventory locations.

Work independently of constant , direct oversight. *

• Lift 50 pounds manually. *
• Walk & stand for approximately 4 hours per day in a climate control
  * High School diploma or equivalent.
  * 3 years of applicable experience.
