Material Handler II
Material Handler II is a mid‑level position responsible for two core warehouse functions. This role supports production and shipping activities while ensuring accuracy in material handling and ERP transactions.
Responsibilities- Perform one core warehouse function with supervision:
Receiving:
Assist with checking incoming shipments and completing system receipts. - Kitting:
Pull and stage materials for production work orders using pick lists and FIFO methods. - Shipping:
Pick and pack orders and assist with basic outbound shipment processing. - Accurately enter inventory movements in the ERP system (Fishbowl/SAP).
- Assist with 5S activities: sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain.
- Perform routine housekeeping to keep work areas safe and organized.
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by department leadership.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in a warehousing or distribution environment.
- Trained in at least two of the following:
Receiving, Kitting, Shipping. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/WMS software (Fishbowl, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or WMS preferred.
