About the Role

• Hospital setting in Panorama City
• M-F 8hrs, 5:30 AM start time
• $24-$26.50 DOE
• A lot of GL
• Daily Tasks:
  • Check in with EH&S Dept.
  • Waste rounds in the Main Hospital
  • Pulling waste and relining bins
  • Labeling drums and waste bins
  • Housekeeping in MAA
  • Packing HW collected from rounds.
  • Battery collection and sorting
  • Formstack (KP Tracking)

• Making waste pickups at labs as needed
• Packaging and labeling waste products and other materials
• Identifying unknown chemicals when they are encountered
• Performing inspections of staging, accumulating, and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance
• Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for efficient and compliant disposal
• Overall quality control of waste materials being stored and shipped
• Completing required manifests and tracking paperwork
• Utilizing CHOICE waste management software to efficiently and accurately manage waste programs

• High School diploma
• Valid driver's license
• Prior chemical handling experience or chemistry knowledge preferred
• BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science a plus
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical assessment

• Competitive wages ranging between $17.14 and $39.81 hourly depending on location, experience, and skills
