Position Overview
The Filler Floater is a flexible production support role responsible for packaging final product and assisting with various production-related tasks as needed. This position supports filler, labeling, batching, and other operational activities to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with packaging of final product.
- Support filler, labeling, batching, and other operational activities.
- Follow safety procedures such as lock-out/tag-out, confined space, HAZMAT, forklift safety, and other safety measures.
- Operate conveyors, scales, hoists, meters, and other equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification highly preferred.
- Basic arithmetic skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Familiarity with operating procedures for conveyors, scales, hoists, meters, etc.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $22 - $28 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
