Sign-on Bonus
$1,000 Total = $500 @ 3 months AND $500 @ 9 months of service.
Job Output:
- The Beam Saw Operator is responsible for safely producing quality products made of veneered cores through one of two Beam Saw Machines.
- Production needs include but are not limited to customer orders, inventory, product samples, and product development prototypes.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of self as well as all associates within the facility.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work.
- Oversee the operation of the Beam Saw Machines, ensuring safe work practices as well as keeping the work area a safe work environment for all that work or enter the area.
- The ability to communicate with a team to ensure safety, quality and delivery expectations are met.
- Responsible for machine start-up, shut-down .
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all paperwork coming into and leaving from the Beam Saw Machines.
- Communicate all key information to your Production Supervisor, 1st shift Team Lead and 2nd shift Team Lead in a timely manner.

Required
- Dependable, punctual, good attendance, self-motivated.
- Enjoys running equipment and achieving the desired output.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and make micro-adjustments.
- The ability to interact well with others in the common pursuit of working safely while producing material that meets all quality attributes and standards.
- Ability to read, understand and follow Standard Work Sheets, Manufacturing Drawings, Routers and Travelers.
- Must be able to start up, shut down machine.
- Must be able to retain information and follow instructions.
- Overtime
- Must be able to read & understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Some knowledge of ACGI wood products, sheet goods and finishing preferred.
- 1-3 years of past manufacturing experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer navigational skills with Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
