Montz, Louisiana (Montz, LA). Onsite position. No relocation assistance. Candidate will be placed as Storekeeper I, II or Sr based on experience.
Job SummaryReceive, pick, pack and ship material from distribution warehouse. Utilize powered industrial lift trucks and electric pallet jacks. Perform housekeeping as part of the job function.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Accurately pick and pack material manually up to 50 lbs and use mechanical equipment for heavier items.
- Process returned material from the field.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and reconcile inventory differences.
- Unload material, inspect for damage and accurately count during the receiving process then put away in correct bin location.
- Utilize RF handheld equipment or paper pick list to locate and pull required material. Perform basic computer functions (entry, lookup, etc.).
- Print and apply appropriate shipping labels.
- Participate, support and comply with all health, safety, quality and lean initiatives and requirements.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by superintendent.
- Perform additional duties during storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company.
- Storekeeper I: 0–2 years
- Storekeeper II: 2–4 years
- Storekeeper Sr: 4–6 years
- Manually lift 50 lbs and operate powered industrial lift truck and/or electric pallet jacks.
- Basic knowledge of store concepts and methods.
- Familiar with nomenclature of electrical materials.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Problem‑solving ability to resolve material inaccuracies.
Expect available to work additional hours, in alternate locations, and/or perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime for such duties.
