Position Summary
Unload trucks and check in material against packing slips to ensure complete and accurate. Transfer material from Receiving to Production areas with forklift. Assist in preparing and planning for company inventories. Participate in physical company inventories. Transfer inventory with RFGen to maintain location and inventory levels.
Roles andKey Responsibilities
- Maintain and control parts inventory.
- Drive a forklift and pass certification course.
- Use RFGen system to transfer inventory.
- Read and decipher packing slip information.
- Lifting minimum of 40 pounds repetitively.
- Perform other various duties as may be assigned.
- Education
:
High School diploma or GED required. - Knowledge
:
Ability to understand general arithmetic, read and understand instructions, and use PC applications such as Mainstar, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. - Physical
:
Walking/standing approximately 70% of time; lifting up to 40 lbs. approximately 15% of time; repetitive overhead work 10%; stooping, forward bending and crouching 5%. - Manual Dexterity
:
Use hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; operate manufacturing equipment and tools. - Auditory Demands
:
Ability to follow verbal instructions and hear for safety purposes. - Visual Demands
:
Ability to visually observe essential functions and color/distance perception. - Environmental
:
Exposure to plant environments with dust, fumes, noise, and fluctuating temperatures. - Personal tool requirement:
Safety shoes. - Ability to use forklift and RFGen system.
