Materials Handler -Weekends

The Material Handler position is a physically demanding role that requires long hours of standing, bending, and heavy lifting. This person must operate electric pallet lifts and the hoist system to load or move materials and products to the required destination while maintaining predetermined stock levels and supporting production across workstations.

• Work independently or with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Assure that all products meet the highest quality standards.
• Perform pre‑inspection of materials to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Follow all safety rules, ISO and OSHA requirements.
• Ensure that materials stocked at workstations match the production specification sheet.
• Use pallet jacks and forklifts to stock products and materials at the appropriate locations.
• Operate a hoist safely and properly.
• Distribute insulated cores to winders as per supervisor instruction.
• Operate the winding machine, understand settings & functions, and maintain it to avoid downtime.
• Perform pre‑inspection and post‑inspection of cores and materials.
• Perform Total Preventive Maintenance duties.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to read, use, and understand measuring devices.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work well with others and foster teamwork.
• Must be motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic understanding of measurements using standard and metric devices.
