Job Summary

As a Shipping and Receiving Assembler, you will package and prepare assembled units for shipment and load/unload crates from trailers.

• Build crates from wood using saws, pneumatic nail and staple guns.
• Package units for shipment by using a tape machine, bag machine, and foam machine.
• Operate a forklift and load/unload large crates on trailers.
  • Training and certification will be provided.
• Work within a fast-paced team environment.

Required Experience

• One to three months of related experience and/or training.

Preferred Education

• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical requirements:
  
  regular standing, hand/arm use, walking, occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Regular lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Exposure: moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, risk of electrical shock and vibration. Noise level is usually very loud.
