Job Overview

Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Assembler – 18‑month contract to hire, located in Santa Clara, California. Pay rate $40–$45 per hour. Shift: 8:00 am–5:00 pm (8‑hour day shift).

• Assemble electromechanical prototype products in an engineering lab environment.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand daily tasks in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
• Follow verbal and written process steps for assembling prototype products.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to develop best assembly practices.
• Propose improvements to reduce product cost and assembly time.
• Redline assembly procedures and Bills of Materials based on findings.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with developing work cells.

• PCBA (through‑hole and SMT) certifications/experience (preferred).
• Fabrication skills (e.g., hand drill, drill press) (preferred).
• Familiarity with production and lean principles (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex information and build consensus.

• Associate degree or higher in manufacturing or mechanical engineering (preferred).
• Experience with hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.).
• Soldering experience.

Estimated rate: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications.
