Operations Engineer, Manufacturing Production
Ontic, a leading global aerospace OEM, is seeking a Production Control Planner II to join our Chatsworth, CA team. The role reports to the Planning Manager and is based onsite.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- ERP & MRP system experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- APICS Certification or equivalent preferred
- Plan, coordinate, and track production material requirements for aircraft products
- Utilize MRP system to plan, create, and release work orders to the shop floor to meet shipping dates according to customer orders and other dependent demands
- Create and release work orders to the shop floor in a timely manner
- Create and maintain process flow charts for key, critical, or new products where applicable
- Schedule, prioritize, and monitor production processes and material availability, while working closely with various departments to meet delivery dates
- Review forecast orders and adjust build schedule work orders accordingly
- Understand multi-level bills of materials, MRP demand and supply, lead‑time, safety stock, min and max quantities

Compensation Pay Range: $85,000–95,000 per year, based on experience.
