Job SummaryHe/She will be responsible for inspection and monitoring of the manufacturing process by verifying products to ensure that all in‑process procedures are followed. Must adhere to GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food safety procedures at all times. Applies knowledge of quality standards during audits of procedures and products to ensure in‑process quality standards are maintained. Reports any deviations from established standards or procedures so that corrective action can be taken by appropriate individuals.
EssentialJob Functions
- Adhere to all good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, HACCP, and SQF process requirements; rectify and/or report any non‑compliance to Management or the SQF practitioner immediately.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Inspect and monitor all in‑process manufacturing activities in accordance with applicable inspection work instructions, including reporting of any facility work rule infractions.
- Audit finished product entering the staging area or warehouse in accordance with applicable inspection instructions.
- Inspect and/or monitor all print runs at the printers in accordance with applicable inspection work instructions to ensure that print applications meet the criteria stated on all print specification sheets.
- Perform general testing of specific indicators of in‑process product to determine level of compliance with established quality criteria.
- Immediately inform responsible employees of any failure to meet established quality standards so that corrective action is taken.
- Record activities, findings, and testing results in appropriate forms or on the quality lab computer.
- Submit all activities, inspection, and audit records to Shift Supervisor or responsible employee as required at the end of the shift.
- Maintain all housekeeping standards by keeping work areas clean at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Win Cup leadership as needed.
- In the event the Quality Control Auditor is absent, another qualified Quality Control Auditor or trained QA backup will cover during his/her unavailability.
High School Diploma
Required Experience / SkillsQuality Auditor Experience Preferred.
Physical Demands (Manufacturing Plant)- Frequently actively listen and exchange information.
- Observe and assess information in a fast‑paced environment.
- Use production, manufacturing equipment and/or machinery.
- Move/transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds, frequently bending, twisting and reaching.
- May be required to remain stationary for extended periods.
- May stand for long periods up to 12‑hour shifts.
- Use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, tools, and controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch.
- Workspace contains moving mechanical parts.
- Indoor manufacturing environment that may be exposed to extreme heat, not air‑conditioned.
- Work environment contains loud noises and odors that may last for long periods or intermittently, with occasional airborne particles.
- Must wear PPE, including hairnet, hearing protection, and safety glasses with side guards at all times.
- Ability to work 8+, 10+ or 12+ hour shifts as designated.
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends and overtime as designated.
