Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm or until complete, or Sunday through Wednesday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule is subject to change based on production needs.

• This position is responsible for pickup, delivery, inspection, and sanitation of eggs to ascertain quality and fitness for incubation, inventory and storage of eggs under controlled conditions, and sanitation of equipment and facilities by performing all essential duties. Other duties may be assigned.

• Store eggs: pick up eggs from houses in laying, traps, and cages, deliver to hatchery, operate egg sanitizer, grade eggs, place hatching eggs in buggies, pack eggs for international orders, dispose of substandard eggs.
• Load PS/SS eggs on truck and assist with loading for transport to off‑site hatchery.
• Monitor hatchery environment hourly for proper temperature and humidity, reporting issues as needed.
• Maintain a sanitary environment: operate tray washer, disinfect crates daily, clean weekly, operate foamer, fumigate as required, clean egg room and hatchery vehicles, remove waste at shift end.

• Perform alternate duties such as Hatchery Processing, maintain vehicle, check fluid levels, filters, and tire pressure, and maintain a clean work/break area.

• Shower before entering facility, change clothing and footwear, and use provided protective gear. No jewelry except medical  approved piercings.
• Sign agreement to avoid avian species and comply with Company Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Guidelines.

• Perform physical tasks: lift crates up to 50 lb, push/pull egg racks up to 1,000 lb, pull stacked chick boxes up to 90 lb, lift individual boxes up to 15 lb; stand majority of shift on concrete floor, climb in/out of vehicle, walk, sit, use hands, reach, balance, and speak.
• Use safe lifting techniques and wear required personal protective equipment including ear plugs, safety goggles, face shield, chemical‑resistant gloves and sleeves, waterproof apron, rubber boots, company‑provided facial covering, and N95 respirators as needed.
• Work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments.
• Handle chemicals such as formaldehyde, peroxide, disinfectants, vehicle fluids, and lubricants.
• Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures, including Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO, and PPE.
