Shipping Floor Associate & Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Responsible for picking, packing, and loading trucks to complete orders for shipment.

Essential functions include using computers and mobile devices to pull parts, visually inspecting parts to ensure quality, packing parts for shipment, shrink wrapping, banding and labeling pallets, using moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory safely and efficiently around the warehouse and stage shipments, keeping the shipping area clean and clear for safety, staging and segregating product in designated areas, documenting movement of materials through a transfer system, taking inventory, maintaining storage area, organizing, and placing stock on shelves, sharing ideas, improvements, and recommendations for continuous improvement, breaking down crates and disposing into dumpsters, and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements include previous forklift and pallet jack experience, some computer skills, ability to read work orders, ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, independent thinker, attention to detail and organizational skills, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Physical requirements include being 18 years or older, ability to stand for most of the shift, manual work requiring frequent sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Shift details include 1st shift shipping M-F, 5X10hr shifts, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.
