This manufacturing position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision measuring instruments and operating machinery. As a machine operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, responsible for operating machinery to cut and shape materials according to specifications provided in shop drawings.

• Set up and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Operate machinery to cut and shape materials according to shop drawings.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as required from time to time as requested.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to minimize material waste by best practice utilization.
• Commitment to maintaining equipment in a safe, clean and good working order.
• Machine operating experience in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience maintaining a workshop area with a focus on safety.
• Experience with the care and use of workshop tools and equipment.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
