Maintenance Mechanic-Electrical

Pay Rate: $38.00/hr.

Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 90 days

$500 after 6 months

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Monday – Friday

2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd Shift (11pm-7am)

The Job You Will Perform
  • Following all safety rules and practices
  • Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
  • Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
  • Accurately using measurement and test equipment
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized work area, and cleaning up work area as part of completing assigned tasks
  • Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
  • Troubleshooting and solving problems
  • Maintaining teamwork with other associates; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring
  • Requires strong electrical and mechanical skills and aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Written and verbal communications skills
  • Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Post High School training preferred
  • Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
  • Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience
  • Ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
  • Corrugated Industry Maintenance experience preferred; and
  • Must be willing to work OT including Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
