PositionSummary
Missouri Tie is looking for a Manufacturing C Operator
Job ResponsibilitiesThis position will have general labor duties not limited to, keeping the yard clean by picking up cross outs, banding, strips, etc., may consist of wrapping bundles of ties with metal strapping for ties as they have been produced, and running a front end loader.
- Prior work experience operating a forklift.
- Good working knowledge of safety laws/ regulations related to this line of work and possess a high regard for safety and integrity.
- Ideally, candidate’s driving record should be blemish‑free.
- Candidate with a service-oriented, “Can-do” attitude is a plus!
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Ability to follow directions
- Able to withstand long hours of work while standing or moving
- Maintain good eye to hand coordination
- Must have dependable transportation
- Comply with all safety rules and procedures set forth by the company state and federal safety and environmental regulations
- Performs any other duties as directed by Plant Manager
- Identify quality issues
- May involve repetitive movements
- Lifting up to 60 pounds
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
- Due to the open environment, must be able to work in extreme weather and temperature conditions
