Thread Molding Operator- Centralia, MO

Responsibilities

• Operator will be required to set-up, make adjustments and repairs, change out tooling and operate all machines and equipment used in the molding of lead and nylon threads on products.
• Will be required to check the product for quality with the use of blue prints and measuring equipment, gages, etc.
• Will be required to keep the work area clean and follow all safety rules.
• Work under general supervision and may be required to perform work of equal or lower classification.
• Perform any other duties as may be required.

• Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of ten hours.
• Ability to walk, hear, see and have full use of both hands.
• Ability to perform highly repetitive work.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lb. cartons a distance of 3 feet and place on a pallet. Carton is lifted from a height of 6” to 48” at a rate of approximately 40 per hour.
• Ability to push loaded skids using a force of 20 lbs., a distance of 6 feet, periodically.
