Line Operator-Nights

Location: Mountain Grove

Penmac Staffing is taking applications for Line Operators to work in injection molding in Mountain Grove, MO.12 hours shift/rotating schedule.

Day Shift-A/C is 7:45am-8:00pm with starting wage is $16/hr night shift-B/D is 7:45pm-8:00am with starting wage at $18/hr must work every other weekend.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for starting and operating the production line along with packaging,documenting and transporting the product to the yard in a safe manner. Maintain compliance with normaland customary procedures and in a safe and efficient manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receive training from Q.C. and follow procedures for measuring walls, OD, ovality, and length.
2. Attend and successfully complete training on use of equipment.
3. Monitor pipe appearance for defects, e.g. watermarks, scratches, holes, wrinkles and print line.
4. Monitor print line for accuracy, inserting print line meaning, and compare to set-up sheet.
5. Operate and adjust equipment as needed, making line adjustments on the extruders and vacuum tanks upon completion of the proper training.
6. Time Line manually.
7. Assist other line operators as needed (building and coil removal, covering for lunch breaks).8. Work closely with the lead and supervisor to reduce scrap, ensure material gain, and maintain within standard.
9. Cut, mark and deliver samples to the lab, following established procedures.
10. Reclaim scrap making appropriate use of band saw, splitter and grinder.
11. Complete required production, checklist and sample forms accurately and in a timely manner.
12. Verify SAP stickers are in place, and that end of run and first number information is recorded on setupand production sheets.
13. Safely transport product safely to the yard using required equipment without damage to facility,equipment or the product.
14. Stack product in a neat and organized manner and place stalks in the appropriate stack.
15. Receive training and practice safe and effective bundle procedures, replacing broken parts.
16. Report damages to Supervisor.
17. Attend and successfully complete OSHA, forklift, and crane certification classes.
18. Follow established safety procedures. Report all accidents and near misses to supervisors immediately.
19. Comply with and wear appropriate safety equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection, hotgloves, steel-toed shoes, gloves when banding product, and other protective gear as required.
20. Maintain a clean and safe work area, including line equipment and floors, unobstructed fire extinguishers, clear and unobstructed exits, all safety shields in place.
