Forklift Operator, Material Handler
Overview
U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., distributes tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. The schedule for this position is Sunday–Tuesday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM or until work is complete, with rotating Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Responsibilities- Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
- Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires, perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
- Work at heights up to 25 feet safely while operating equipment.
- Be on the move and able to stand for extended periods; work overtime as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures.
- May assist other departments, such as e-commerce, inventory, and will call, depending on business needs.

Physical demands
:
The employee must be qualified to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequently lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. Exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) may require team lifts or mechanical assistance.
Protective equipment required
: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for boots. Adhere to safety and manufacturer guidelines for compliant use of protective equipment.
Work environment
:
Exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Noise level is usually moderate. Fumes from tires and occasional car parts and lubricants.

- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds (working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires)
- Ability to work at heights of up to 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
- Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
