Job Description

AFB International manufactures pet food palatability enhancers and related technologies. This role is part of the AFB Manufacturing team.

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Produce quality products that meet customer expectations.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operating procedures.
• Identify and communicate production issues.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support 5S workplace organization and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, showroom-ready work environment.
• Learn and apply the Ensign-Bickford Operating System (EBOS).
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve production goals.
• Contribute to a culture focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial experience (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment with varying temperatures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
• Night Shift Differential: $2.50 (Thu–Sat) and $1.50 on Wednesdays

Day/Shift

Schedule:

6:00 AM – 6:00 PM;
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday. 3-day and 4-day workweeks with built-in overtime; additional overtime opportunities available.
