Gerald Industries, A DEMA Company, is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Gerald, Missouri.

Every order that leaves our facility represents our commitment to quality and customer service. As a Shipping Specialist, you'll play an important role in making sure our customers receive the right products - accurately, safely, and on time.

As a Shipping Specialist, you'll help keep our operation running smoothly by:

• Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Reviewing customer order requirements to ensure shipments are complete and accurate
• Creating and verifying shipping documents, Bills of Lading, labels, and other required paperwork
• Using RF scanners and shipping software to process inventory and customer ordersli>
• Pulling and counting inventory accurately from warehouse locations
• Loading and unloading materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and/or other material handling equipment
• Inspecting shipments before they leave the facility to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintaining accurate shipping and inventory records
• Identifying inventory discrepancies and communicating issues promptly
• Working closely with production and customer service teams to meet shipping schedules
• Keeping the shipping area clean, organized, and safe
• Following all company safety policies and procedures

We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, and takes pride in doing quality work.

• High school diploma or GED
• Shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus
• Forklift certification preferred, but we'll train qualified candidates
• Basic computer skills and experience using shipping software or barcode scanners are helpful

• Stand and walk throughout the shift
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Bend, reach, kneel, climb stairs or ladders, and perform other physical warehouse activities
• Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment while wearing required PPE
