Job Output

The Quality Control Inspector provides knowledge and guidelines for levels of quality required for all ACGI products. This role requires a skilled technical thinker that can aid the Team Leads and the operators in determining if a product meets the quality expectations. Many of these expectations are very well defined through existing tolerances, processes and procedures, but others are more subjective, such as color and grain variations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Works with plant management, team leads and operators in helping determine conformance of products to established quality standards.
• Conducts daily audits of all products in production.
• Displays a thorough understanding of how all the ACGI products are to be installed and ensures that the manufactured products produced will meet those guidelines.

Plant Environment - This position operates in a manufacturing setting and can be subject to extreme cold and hot temperatures; uneven walking surfaces with cords, tools and other obstacles; intermittent loud noises; and dusty or dirty conditions. Required PPE includes:
Hard hat (when required), safety glasses, earplugs, steel toe/composite boots, and fall protection.
