GP Farm Clean-Out Associate
Sallisaw, OK
Starting Pay: $15.00 per Hour
Penmac Staffing is currently hiringGP Farm Clean-Out Associates for poultry farm operations in the Stilwell, OK and Fort Smith, AR areas. This position is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing poultry houses for new flocks while maintaining strict safety, sanitation, and biosecurity standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in an agricultural environment.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPoultry House Clean-Out
- Empty feeders and feeding systems as required.
- Remove litter, debris, and waste materials from poultry houses.
- Strip and remove all bedding/litter from assigned houses.
- Scrape and clean concrete floors and other surfaces.
- Open and close house end doors as needed during clean-out operations.
- Raise, lower, remove, or disassemble equipment as necessary for cleaning.
- Assist equipment operators with clean-out activities and ground labor tasks.
- Follow all sanitation, biosecurity, and workplace safety procedures.
- Utilize approved detergents, disinfectants, and cleaning chemicals according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Sanitize floors, walls, slats, machinery, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all poultry health and disease prevention requirements.
- Follow established SOPs and work instructions to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers to achieve team goals.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, gripping, and grasping throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in poultry house environments.
- Exposure to dust, dirt, poultry litter, cleaning chemicals, pests, and wildlife.
- Routine interaction with live poultry.
- Ability to safely handle detergents, disinfectants, and other approved chemicals.
- Availability to work up to 6 days per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work extended shifts, nights, and overtime when required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
