7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group has a great Winder/Operator position available at a company in Fenton, MO. In this role, you'll be responsible for winding copper wire and building small electrical engines used in refrigeration units supplied to military forces. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Winder/Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils in AC/DC rotating machines using best industry practices.
• Inspect equipment and parts for damage and diagnose issues.
• Operate specialized repair and testing equipment in the electrical rotating apparatus repair industry.
• Perform brazing using oxy-acetylene, induction, and/or resistance welding techniques.
• Conduct preventative maintenance as required on equipment in your area.
• Complete job documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist in accurate costing and work scope development for rewind projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and use proper protective equipment.
