Assembler - 2nd Shift
Experience: Entry Level
Salary: $20 - $22 per hour
Are you passionate about manufacturing and assembly? Do you have a keen eye for detail, and a knack for quality inspection? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a talented and experienced Consulting Assembler to join our dynamic team for the 2nd shift. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong understanding of blueprints, data entry, safety protocols, and screw machines.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Assembling parts and components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure assembled products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Performing data entry tasks, including logging assembly processes, product specifications, and quality control results.
- Operating screw machines and other assembly equipment, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborating with other team members and departments to optimize assembly processes.
- Providing expert advice and recommendations on assembly procedures, quality control methods, and safety protocols.
- Troubleshooting assembly issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ways to enhance product quality and assembly efficiency.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience with data entry, safety protocols, quality inspections, and screw machines.
- Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and departments.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to implement changes.
- Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to stand for long periods and handle small parts and tools.
- A high school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or degree in a related field is a plus.
