CNC Operator​/Set-up

CORTEC is a design, manufacturing, sales and service organization specializing in flow control applications in the Oil & Gas industry. We supply equipment on some of the most high profile and impactful oil & gas projects all over the world. We offer a line of equipment suited to a wide variety of uses, but excel in providing solutions to our customers’ specific project needs.

All work is performed in a climate controlled shop.

JOB DUTIES:

• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools, utilizing experience and knowledge of machine shop procedures, materials and tooling requirements.
• Review all drawings and specifications. Become familiar with required dimensions and tolerances, operations, and setup specifications.
• Verify dimensions of finished components using various gauges and measuring devices.
• Provide markings and reference points as guides for other necessary machining operations.
• Complete required setup sheets to document setups for future uses.
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Math test required for less than 2 years of experience
