This is a great time to join our team as we are currently seeking candidates to fill a Fabrication Welder/Maintenance position at our Fort Belle quarry, located in Florissant, MO. Ideal candidates would be experienced in welding, cutting, fabrication and basic maintenance in a mining, construction, or industrial setting. This is a day shift union position with Operators Local 513, commonly working Monday through Friday with frequent Saturdays.

Fabrication Welder/Maintenance candidate requirements:

• Ability to weld, cut, and grind using a multitude of tools and equipment.
• Fabricate and repair miscellaneous items in the field and shop
• Safety-Focused
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic

Fabrication Welder/Maintenance major responsibilities include:

• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and Mine Safety Health Administration.
• Fabrication and welding in the field and shop environment.
• Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
• Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
