2nd Shift

3:15pm-11:45pm Monday-Friday, Overtime may be required (Training 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday)

We are searching for candidates with prior metal press machine operation experience for a 2nd shift role located in North Kansas City, MO. - Read and understand work instructions, handle material to and from workstation, and get workstation and equipment ready for production and ensure the quality of the product before shipping
- Perform die changeovers and select correct materials to run
- Correct or seek support to fix any setup or tool problems preventing production of good parts
- Operate press to punch and form parts per specifications
- Adjust and tighten hold down bolts, dies, springs, and pins; lubricate material and parts as required
- Perform housekeeping activities daily as outlined by supervisor
- Complete all required and assigned paperwork

- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, ascend/descend stairs, and climb throughout a normal shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with up to 20 pounds as the most frequent lift
- Excellent attendance
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to distinguish defective items
- Previous experience in manufacturing and operating a press preferred
- Ability to read measuring devices and interpret blueprints and drawings
- No cell phones allowed on warehouse floor
