Overview

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK Monday - Friday from 7 AM - 3:30 PM + overtime, including 2 Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Distribution Support Associate is responsible for supporting shipping, packaging, material movement, and production operations within the facility. This position ensures finished goods are properly prepared and protected for shipment, materials are delivered to production areas in a timely manner, and inventory is maintained accurately to support continuous production flow and on-time customer deliveries. The role requires safe operation of material handling equipment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shipping Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify customer orders for shipment according to company requirements.
  • Load and unload materials, pallets, and finished goods safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling prior to shipment.
  • Maintain shipping documentation and support inventory accuracy.

Packaging (Strap & Wrap) Responsibilities

  • Properly strap, band, wrap, and secure finished products to prevent damage during storage and transportation.
  • Verify packaging meets company and customer specifications.
  • Inspect products for quality and condition prior to packaging and shipment.
  • Maintain packaging materials and supplies inventory.
  • Ensure all finished goods are correctly identified and labeled.

Material Coordinator (Water Spider) Responsibilities

  • Deliver raw materials, components, tools, and supplies to production workstations.
  • Maintain finished goods area orderly by removing finished goods, scrap material, and emptying containers from production areas.
  • Monitor material levels and replenish supplies to support uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate material movements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
