Shipping​/Receiving 2nd Shift

Job Summary

As a Shipping and Receiving Assembler, you will prepare product for export and receive materials and goods needed for business.

• Receiving and sorting incoming goods and dispersing them to the proper personnel/department.
• Administer all paperwork associated with the department, packing slips, freight tickets, factory orders, and bills of lading.
• Validating all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Prepare all outgoing shipments in accordance to shipping standards for weight and crating specifications.
• Maintain UPS shipments and on‑line system.

Required Experience

• One to three months related experience and/or training.

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Physical requirements:
  
  employee regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach; walk; occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Employee occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. Noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
