Homeyer Precision Manufacturing is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to join our growing team. We manufacture precision-machined components for the aerospace, space, defense, semiconductor, and industrial markets, where quality, accuracy, and problem-solving are critical.

What You'll Do

Create, develop, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM
Program complex 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling operations
Analyze customer drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specifications to determine machining strategy
Select tooling, cutting parameters, machining sequences, and work holding solutions
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Machining teams to ensure efficient production
Develop setup documentation, tooling lists, operation sheets, and process instructions
Support first article production and troubleshoot machining issues on the shop floor
Improve existing programs to reduce cycle time, improve tool life, and increase productivity
Implement programming-related corrective actions for nonconforming parts
Assist in fixture design and manufacturing process improvements
Document in-process inspection requirements and manufacturing processes
Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and 5S

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering or NC Programming experience
Minimum 1 year programming CNC mills in a production environment
Strong experience with Siemens NX CAM
Thorough understanding of GD&T
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
Knowledge of multi-axis machining strategies
Strong understanding of machining fundamentals including tooling, feeds, speeds, work holding, and cutting tool selection
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Preferred Qualifications

Experience programming 5-axis CNC machining centers
Manufacturing Process Engineering experience
Experience designing fixtures and work holding
Experience with Zoller tool presetting systems
Technical degree or vocational training in Manufacturing, CNC Programming, or Engineering Technology
