About This Position1st SHIFT POSITION:
Monday
- Thursday, 5 AM - 3 PM - $19.50/hour
2nd SHIFT POSITION:
Monday
- Thursday, 3 PM - 1 AM - $20.50/hour
CLEAN AIR CONDITIONED WAREHOUSE
BONUS: EARN UP TO $125 A WEEK
Maintain production equipment and facilities to maximize quality production with limited downtime and waste.
You will work onsite for this position. You will report to the director of packaging.
Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities- We require reliable attendance; you must follow your assigned work schedule.
- Maximize Quality Production with limited down time and waste.
- Comply with GFSI, FDA, GMP, OSHA and HACCP guidelines.
- Wear proper PPE per GMPs, SDS, and OSHA.
- Report any unsafe condition or property damage to supervisor immediately.
- Complete all daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic PMs as scheduled.
- Monitor, test and maintain safety devices on production lines.
- Track, repair, and maintain equipment tooling and maintenance tools.
- Practice "Time is of the Essence" philosophy when performing changeovers, PMs and projects.
- Prepare, order, track purchase orders to avoid downtime or rush deliveries.
- You will be responsible for machine and building repairs.
- Train operators and other mechanics.
- Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge in Quality Procedures
- 1+ years of Food Manufacturing PREFERRED
- Packaging experience REQUIRED.
- Mechanical aptitude for high speed packaging equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Quality oriented
- Ability to work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating effectively between shift/department
- Ability to work: MONDAY - THURSDAY, 5 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 1 am
