Operator ; Packaging

ANSA McAL Chemicals Ltd. is seeking a safety-conscious, results-oriented professional to join our Operations team as an Operator I – Packaging
.

This role is responsible for operating packaging plant equipment in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner while maintaining quality standards, maximizing production output, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Operate and monitor assigned packaging equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
• Perform equipment changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted production operations.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability by ensuring tooling, change parts, and equipment spares are properly monitored, maintained, and reported.
• Identify equipment issues and collaborate with supervisors and maintenance personnel to support timely troubleshooting and corrective action.
• Adapt quickly to changing operational priorities and support the achievement of production objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics to achieve shared business goals and foster a positive team environment.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve safety, efficiency, reliability, and overall plant performance.
• Complete accurate production records, shift reports, and handovers to ensure effective communication and operational continuity between shifts.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of work.

• Three (3) CXC/O'Level subjects, including Mathematics and English.
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant manufacturing, production, or operations experience.
• A valid Forklift Driver's Licence will be considered an asset.
