About the Opportunity:

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Mechanic Level 1 responsible to perform basic skilled maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor. What You Will Need:

• Minimum 2 year experience in Industrial/ electrical equipment.
• Must have knowledge in use of hand tools and power tools (Drills, Saws, Grinders, etc...).
• Must have basic knowledge of bearing, sprockets, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, belting, and rollers.
• Must have general computer knowledge in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to demonstrate a friendly and productive attitude in a highly intensive work environment and show a willingness to support all Production activities, as required.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed.
• Must be willing to work Day and/or Night shift as needed.
• Must understand and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Must understand and comply with all company safety policies including lock-out/tag-out procedures and policies.
• Must be trainable in all aspects of safety as it pertains to the maintenance repair of dangerous, and potentially dangerous machinery.
• Must demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
• Willing to travel to multiple facilities within the division.
• Must be able to understand and communicate verbally and in writing, information in English.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

Total Rewards: $18.95 / HOUR

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
