About The Role

As the Director of Marketing Growth Strategy and Journey Design, you are the strategic architect for the mid‑funnel engagement system, bridging marketing strategy with brand media execution. You'll own the learning agenda, story strategy, journey architecture, and experimentation roadmap that re‑engages stalled Refinance and Purchase leads. You'll work cross‑functionally to design multi‑touch, behavior‑driven journeys, provide brand‑aligned content direction, and identify high‑impact opportunities to improve milestone progression and reduce Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) through strategic marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Own mid‑funnel learning agenda across Refi and Purchase segments (MA, WOIT, GH, Catch‑All)
  • Define hypotheses, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success criteria for all journey experiments
  • Partner with the Consumer Insights team to identify segment‑specific motivations, friction points, and story strategies
  • Design behavior‑based journey flows that drive engagement and progression
  • Map behavioral triggers and decision trees across email, SMS, app, landing pages, social, You Tube, and Redfin‑informed audiences
  • Ensure journeys build affinity, clarity, and conversion readiness
  • Define affinity‑building story architectures, value propositions, and content formats needed for each journey
About You

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in growth, consumer journey strategy, life‑cycle strategy, performance storytelling, and/or experimentation in the marketing sector
  • Experience designing multiple‑channel customer journeys
  • Strong understanding of behavioral triggers and customer psychology
  • Ability to synthesize data into narrative hypotheses and actionable recommendations
  • Excellent cross‑functional leadership and influence skills
  • Strong ability to grow and mentor people and teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Fin Tech space, particularly with mortgage or lending products
  • Strong understanding of segment psychology and motivational frameworks
  • Experience optimizing mid‑funnel journeys and engagement strategies
