Responsibilities
- Lead copy across the full BODi portfolio and all major consumer touchpoints.
- Drive copy development for email, CRM, paid media, landing pages, product launch campaigns, PDPs, web, packaging, video, blog/editorial, and other brand and marketing needs.
- Elevate the standard of writing across the organization to be sharper, more persuasive, emotionally resonant, and effective at driving action.
- Bring direct‑to‑consumer instincts to every channel, ensuring the work sells results.
- Support verbal identity development by partnering with senior creative leadership and creating verbal systems, guidelines, and messaging frameworks.
- Write sales copy that converts across email and digital touchpoints, creating urgency and desire.
- Lead content & editorial, ensuring consistency across blog, editorial copy, and the broader customer journey.
- Manage and coach a small team of writers and contributors, providing concept, editing, and high‑conversion feedback.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams: growth, tech, SEO, lifecycle/CRM, brand marketing, creative, legal/regulatory, executive leadership, merchandising, media.
- Strong expertise in direct‑to‑consumer sales copywriting: hooks, offers, urgency, value communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent; 10+ years overall experience with 5–7+ years in copy leadership across brand and performance marketing.
- Proven record writing & directing high‑converting copy across email, landing pages, performance marketing assets, product campaigns, etc.
- Experience developing voice & tone systems, messaging frameworks, and verbal guidelines across multi‑brand environments.
- Player‑coach mindset: leads function but also writes, edits, and shapes high‑priority work.
- Experience managing writers, freelancers, and cross‑functional contributors.
- Strong creative judgment, clarity, persuasion, speed, and craft.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and collaborate with brand, business, legal, and executive stakeholders.
