Summary/Objective

Hillcrest Platte County is seeking a Digital Media & Marketing Manager to lead the organization’s digital storytelling, content production and marketing, public relations, paid media execution, and website updates and maintenance. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role that requires both strong creative execution and strategic oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in producing high‑quality content while also leading and supervising a small communications team, ensuring consistency and excellence across multi‑channel marketing efforts within a mission‑driven environment.

In addition, this role supports marketing and communications efforts for public relations initiatives, organizational events, and HPC Thrift Shops, while acting as a key connector between administrative departments, thrift store locations, and community partners.

Essential Functions
  • Guidance and supervision of marketing team members across locations.
  • Content creation (digital and print), strategy, and execution across social media platforms:
    Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Linked In, Tik Tok, and You Tube.
  • Brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Meta Ads Manager strategy, campaign execution, and budget optimization.
  • Analytics tracking, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Public relations and media outreach.
  • Event promotion and marketing support.
  • Google Business Profile updates and review response management.
  • Word Press website updates and maintenance.
  • Storytelling, article writing, and short‑form video production.
  • Management of login credentials and secure access for digital platforms.
  • Collaboration with thrift store locations and administrative departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field; and/or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience in digital marketing, content creation, media production, or public relations.
  • Experience leading or supervising creative team members.
  • Experience in multi‑channel marketing, including digital and print content creation, social media strategy, and platform execution across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Linked In, Tik Tok, and You Tube.
  • Strong understanding of brand management and maintaining consistency across digital and print channels.
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager, including campaign strategy, execution, and budget optimization.
  • Analytics, reporting, and performance optimization across digital marketing platforms.
  • Public relations, event promotion, and external communications.
  • Google Business Profile update/reviews, and Word Press website updates.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and content development skills.
  • Experience creating marketing and campaign assets using accessible tools such as Canva, video editing platforms, and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
  • Alignment with and support of the Christian mission, values, and beliefs of Hillcrest Platte County.
  • Supervisory Responsibility

    This position manages two Social Media Coordinators at our Thrift Stores and Admin. Manage, train, and empower social media coordinators across thrift shops; enhancing effectiveness.
