Position: Thought Leader Liaison (Southwest)
Location: Nevada

Position Summary

Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field-based role responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with national and regional US key opinion leaders (KOLs) in rare nephrology. Supports growth of FILSPARI (sparsentan) for IgAN and FSGS and collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Insights and Analytics, Sales management, Patient Advocacy, Compliance, Sales Training, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement regional account strategy and KOL engagement plan with brand team and field partners.
  • Coordinate with marketing to identify KOL partnering opportunities and assist with KOL recruitment.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize KOL sentiments, competitor activities, and market trends; provide regular updates and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliant, fair-balanced, effective message delivery in promotional educational channels.
  • Enlist appropriate KOLs to support commercial activities.
  • Identify and vet qualified promotional speakers; assist with contracting, training, and ongoing educational efforts.
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of marketing experience in specialty or rare disease marketing.
Additional Skills/Requirements
  • Strong scientific acumen in specialty clinical medicine.
  • Proven leadership/high performance; build and sustain cross-functional and KOL relationships.
  • Strong collaboration, attention to detail, organization, and verbal/written communication.
  • Experience creating complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths; adapt to plan changes.
  • Live in assigned region; travel 50–60% domestically; in-field at least 3 days/week; some weekend work.
  • Must perform face-to-face work; not 100% remote.
