Director, Communications – Advanced Surgical Instruments

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to create strategic communications programs that drive business outcomes.
• Prioritizing thought leadership and earned/owned media strategy.
• Developing strategic messaging and content, social media, campaign activations, and employee communications.
• Managing issues related to communication and building a deep understanding of surgery and healthcare markets.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (required).
• 10+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing communications, public affairs, or related fields.
• Experience in healthcare, Med Tech, robotics, or highly technical industries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience creating high‑quality written and visual content across multiple formats.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with matrixed teams and managing complex workflows.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with digital, social, and multimedia communication platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence without authority.
