Product Management and Marketing Manager

Job Overview

VMware @ Broadcom seeks an experienced product management and marketing leader to drive the ANS (Application Networking and Security) Division's security and application delivery products and go‑to‑market initiatives.

In this role you will evangelize, insert, and expand VMware’s vDefend lateral security and Avi Load Balancer products with customers, identify use cases, develop insertion strategies, drive marketing campaigns, and build messaging and go‑to‑market collateral. You will engage executive‑level messaging, storytelling, and simplify highly technical concepts for diverse audiences including IT, technology, and partner executives. Use of AI to boost productivity and a strategic understanding of agentic AI for evolving ANS products and messaging is critical.

• Engage closely with ANS product sales and customers across multiple go‑to‑market segments.
• Partner with product management and architects on strategic direction, roadmap prioritization, product design, implementation, testing and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross‑division and corporate teams for executive level content development, with simplified and impactful messaging.
• Work with corporate PR for product launches.
• Produce differentiated go‑to‑market collateral (white papers, videos, blogs) articulating the technical and business value of the ANS portfolio.
• Speak at conferences, vMUGs and related forums.
• Lead a high‑productivity team.

• Thorough knowledge of networking, security, and load balancing.
• Clear understanding of agentic AI architecture and its implications to cloud infrastructure, security, and load balancing.
• Articulate and able to deliver impactful messages to sales teams, customers, and partners.
• Public speaking experience on industry forums and conferences.
• Experience in outbound and inbound product management, marketing, and business development.

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field and 15+ years of related experience, OR
• MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field and 13+ years of related experience.

On‑site in Palo Alto, CA.

The annual base salary range for this position is USD To USD.
