Responsibilities

• Own copy direction for brand campaigns and paid social
• Manage 2-3 experienced copywriters and content creators
• Partner with executive teams to develop integrated campaign concepts
• Shape and evolve Strava's verbal identity
• Translate cultural signals and audience insights into creative ideas
• Write and direct copy across various formats
• Present work to leadership and connect creative decisions to strategy
• Collaborate with external agencies to uphold voice and tone standards

• 10+ years experience in copywriting and creative concepting
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft across brand campaigns
• Proven experience managing copywriters and enabling team growth
• Strategic mindset for connecting copy decisions to brand impact
• Deep understanding of platform-native writing
• Experience developing brand voice and tone frameworks
• Comfortable in fast-moving environments
• Collaborating with visual designers and art directors in integrated concepting
• Success record of mentoring and developing creative team members
