We're looking for a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Strategist to lead the growth of Ratehub and Money Sense across social media and online communities. This role will own the end-to-end social strategy—from content ideation and production to community management, audience growth, brand governance, and performance analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building engaged communities, increasing brand awareness, growing followers and subscribers, and establishing Ratehub and Money Sense as Canada's leading destinations for trusted personal finance information and financial products. You'll also play an important role in expanding the reach of our content across social platforms, forums, and emerging AI-powered search experiences.

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In, Reddit, and other relevant social platforms and online communities.
• Build and manage content calendars aligned with editorial priorities, marketing campaigns, product launches, seasonal events, and breaking financial news.
• Identify trends, platform updates, and emerging content opportunities to maximize reach, engagement, and audience growth.
• Continuously test and optimize content formats, messaging, posting cadence, and creative approaches using performance data.
• Support the company's Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy by amplifying authoritative content across social media, forums, and online communities.
• Partner with SEO, editorial, and marketing teams to maximize the reach and discoverability of key articles, research, calculators, tools, and original analysis.

• Own the end-to-end creation of social content, including ideation, scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and optimization.
• Create engaging short- and long-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, Tik Tok, You Tube, and other platforms.
• Serve as an on-camera spokesperson, creating authentic, entertaining, educational content that builds trust with Canadians.
• Translate complex personal finance topics, including mortgages, credit cards, insurance, banking, investing, and loans, into compelling, easy-to-understand content.
