Living Stone Baptist Church of Portageville, MO is prayerfully seeking a Christ-Centered, Spirit-Led, Bi-Vocational pastor who will encourage the congregation to continue to grow in faith, unity and love. The pastor will shepherd the congregation with humility, wisdom, patience, integrity and compassion for the glory of God.
Key Responsibilities- Provide spiritual leadership & pastoral care to the church and local community.
- Prepare and deliver Christ-centered sermons with practical applications aligned with God’s will.
- Administer the ordinances of baptism and communion.
- Provide biblical counseling & visitation for members and families.
- Perform weddings and funerals.
- Encourage and equip members to serve and grow as disciples of Christ.
- Guide the congregation in evangelism, missions, and outreach.
- Oversee the collaboration with the church counsel, committees, and ministry teams to advance the church’s mission.
