University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ameri Corps
University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ameri Corps members will serve from 10-12 hours per week at partner sites Mon.
- Sat. for the Fall and Spring semesters. Ameri Corps members will mainly serve off campus with local nonprofit organizations. UL Lafayette Ameri Corps members will receive uniforms, training and do team building exercises. Ameri Corps members will volunteer with Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, Moncus Park, and an after school tutoring and enrichment program for elementary and middle school students. Members serve part time for 300 service hours and will begin in September 2026 and end in May 2027.
Members may also serve for one semester for 100 service hours.
Ameri Corps members will be assisting in construction of homes with Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, working in green spaces, grounds maintenance and debris pickup with Moncus Park and after school enrichment program with elementary and middle school students with New Hope Lafayette.
