Analyst - Watershed Program Analyst

The California Conservation Corps (CCC) is looking for an Analyst 1 – Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) Analyst to join our team in San Luis Obispo. This is a great opportunity for a strong communicator and organized problem-solver who enjoys working across recruitment, outreach, communications, data, and program support.

As the WSP Program Analyst, you’ll help connect people with the Watershed Stewards Program and support Corps members and Placement Sites throughout the program experience. You’ll work closely with program staff to recruit applicants, develop engaging communications, support outreach events, analyze program data, and keep program information accurate and organized.

What You’ll Do:

• Support program recruitment by managing applicant communications, tracking applications, facilitating interviews, assessing eligibility, and helping applicants explore placement opportunities.
• Lead and support public engagement and communications, including social media, outreach materials, presentations, email communications, and event coordination.
• Edit and develop content while helping Corps members strengthen professional writing, graphics, and other communications materials.
• Manage program media, including organizing photos and videos and identifying content for reports, presentations, and outreach.
• Analyze program data and assist with reports, surveys, tracking systems, and program compliance.
• Support field activities and Placement Site visits, including taking notes and capturing content for program communications.
• Contribute to training, monthly program communications, staff meetings, and day-to-day program operations.
• Help advance an inclusive workplace and program that provides equitable services and engages with diverse communities and tribal governments.

This role offers the chance to support a program that connects people with hands-on watershed and conservation experiences across California. You’ll have a varied workload, work with a broad range of people and communities, and play an important role in helping the program communicate its work and connect with future Corps members and partners.
