Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery #26-00805 – Orange, CA – RN, Labor and Delivery – All On-site – Duration: 13 weeks – Start: 02/24/2026 – Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) – 12 hours/day, 3 days/week.
DescriptionThe Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery provides compassionate, skilled care to mothers during labor, childbirth, and the immediate postpartum period. Responsibilities include monitoring maternal and fetal health, administering medications, and assisting physicians or midwives during deliveries. The RN educates and supports patients and families throughout the birth process, responds quickly to emergencies to ensure the safety of both mother and baby, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates with the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
- Must be able to circulate.
- Weekend shifts may exceed every other week to accommodate unit needs.
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
- Travel pairs will not be considered.
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
