A healthcare facility located on the Northern California coast is seeking an experienced Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Fort Bragg, CA. This position provides care to a diverse patient population in a general acute care unit supporting both medical and surgical patients.
This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable managing a wide variety of patient conditions.
Schedule:
36 hours per week
Shift: Night shift | 12‑hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Department:
Medical‑Surgical Acute Care
Patient Population:
Mixed medical and surgical patients
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Telemetry experience required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
